Pokemon Gold/Silver

Pokemon Gold and Silver are going to be exciting new Pokemon games. It's based on a totally new story with a new main character. Gold and Silver will be on Game Boy Color but will also be compatible with earlier versions of Game Boy. The game will look much nicer with the full 52-color palette.

One new and cool feature of Gold and Silver is that you can play in the dark! Some Pokemon only show up in the night so you'll have to take extra time to catch em all. Gold and Silver provide new citys and towns, along with brand new gym leaders. Professor Oak will still be in Pokemon Gold and Silver though.

Another cool new feature is that there will be earlier evolutions of some of the Pokemon in Blue and Red. One example is that "Elekid" is before "Electabuzz". There are also Male and Female Pokemon, which you will be able to breed. There will also be over 100 new Pokemon to catch!

Your backpack will also become a lot more organized in Gold and Silver. You can also get a radio, and collect trainer phone numbers. Professor Oak has also created a brand new Pokedex, with more features then the old one.

Overall, Pokemon Gold and Silver promises to be very exciting sequels to Blue and Red. You need to get either Gold, Silver, or both!
