This site is for anyone who has thought about windsurfing, or a good reference for those who are already actively involved in the sport. The main reason for the site is to influence people into having a go.
The site starts off by giving an optional brief history of windsurfing. It then moves on to safety and preparation, how to setup, explanation of the different techniques involved in windsurfing, and also advises on the correct type of board to use. The authors are just different windsurfers who are sharing their experiences in a sport they enjoy. There appears not to be any biased information , but just sound and sensible advise.
Giving information on windsurfing worldwide. Includes newsdesk, weather, updates, videos, and competitions. Mostly written for windsurfers by windsurfers, although you are tempted into subscribing for more information so there is an ulterior motive.
The site contains information on windsurfing news, weather, equiptment, forum, competition, newcommers, the RYA, classified, and club locations. It seems to be a good site and includes little bits of information but does try and get you subscribing to the magazine.
This site is for the real keenies but does encourage newcommers. It gives inforation on competitions, rules/regs, race news, race photos, membership, and a for sale section.
Apears to be a very informative site on windsurfing. Giving info on windsurfing news, events calendar, weather, beginers corner, and board review. Possible that it may be biased in some ways, as it is after all a magazine and magazines do have sponsors.
