I downloaded your video and all I got was "freehomepages.php." What's the deal?
Excellent question. This site does that sometimes, and we don't know why. However, all of our (not retired) videos are also hosted on 4shared.com. To access that, just click the link that reads "mirror" under the vidpic. (Beginning with "Touch" all our recent videos, as well as a few un-retired, are hosted solely on 4shared.com so you can just click the vidpic.) Also, using Firefox seems to eliminate the problem. Left-clicking is helpful too sometimes. All of our videos are zipped.

I've downloaded the video, now why can't I watch it?
If the video was made before December 2005, you might need Windows Media Player, DIVX, or Ffdshow. If it was made after December 2005, then you might need Realplayer. If you have realplayer and it still doesn't work, try renaming the file from ".rmvb" to ".rm" Hopefully, that will help!

All these pop-ups suck!
That's not a question, but we wholeheartedly agree. However, our hosting is free, so we understand. Firefox gets rid of those pesky pop-ups and there are plenty of other free software tools that eliminate the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience and/or annoyance.

Why do your older videos all say "Made by Cec?" What about Kaycee?
For a while we just shared one vidding pseudonym. After a while, we started getting on some vidding boards, doing fanart separately, and making solo videos, we decided it was time for us to each have our own nickname.

How do you pronounce "Cec?"
C. E. C. It's just initials. Not incredibly creative as nicknames go, but it serves its purpose, right? haha.

How long have you been vidding and making fanart?
We made our first video, When She Says She Loves Me, in March of 2003. We started dabbling in fanart roughly around that same time.

What programs do you use?
Our first few videos were made in WMM1 *shudder*. We then graduated up to WMM2, and in June 2005, we got Magix Movie Edit Pro. It's inexpensive, full of features, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a vidding program! For our fanart we used Microsoft Picture It until Spring of 2005 when we got Paint Shop Pro 8. (Also really inexpensive if you buy a slightly outdated version. Ebay is good place to look!) We love it; it's not hard to learn, and we would recommend it to anyone! We also use Virtualdub and Jasc Animation Shop for extra effects (and to make .gif files in the case of the latter.)

Is there a way for me to see your retired videos?
Sure! Just request it, and we'll see to it that you get it. *Warning* Many of our retired videos are really old, and, thus, not that great.

Hey! I thought we were affiliates!?
Oops. We clean up our links page from time to time and delete the links to websites that no longer exist. If you are back, or you rjust moved and we missed the memo, please tell us so we can put you back!

Why are there always two layouts?
Because there are two of us. Each time we put up new layouts, we each make one (usually to correspond with the video we put up at the same time.)

Wanna be affiliates?
You bet we do! Just send us a link to your site, and if it isn't objectionable in some way, we'll affiliate right away!

Can I, um, borrow your clips for this video I'm making?
If we have a clip that doesn't have any obvious editing or effects on it and you can use it, then, by all means, do so! I mean, we'll be pretty unhappy if a hefty chunk of our video shows up in your video, but if you just grab a couple of clips that look like they did in the original episode, then we have no problem with you doing just that! Also, if you are needing some clips, Illuminating Television is there to help!

What if this page doesn't answer my question?
Then run by the contact page, and let us know! We'll get back to you as soon as we can!
