"Be not forgetful to entertain Strangers: for thereby some have entertained Angels unawares."

Hebrews 13:2

There is a new addition to our family, a new grandson. He was born on 9-11-01, the day that changed the lives of the American People. While many people were dying and suffering in the hands of terrorists in the United States, this little guy was showing his courage by willing to be born in this great Nation. I do hope his life won't be filled with war and anger towards other Nations and do hope terrorism will soon become a thing of the past.

I know I don't get in here enough to keep this thing updated regularly but sometimes there just isn't enough time to do the things you need to do to make everyone else happy as I am. So, in case you think this thing needs more updates or whatever, just look for me HERE as this is where I keep a diary of sorts and even though I do miss a few days here and there, it mainly stays updated.
*Pictures of the newest grandson along with his very own pages should be coming soon. Or maybe I'll start posting them in the journal.*

I figured you guys were probably tired of my little crawfish by now...so..I added this instead.

If you'd like to find out more about this fantastic world famous coffee...just click on the name after you've seen the rest of the page...and signed the guest book...*S*.

A little about myself:

I was born near New Orleans, Louisiana...lived near Baton Rouge for the longest time, then moved to the Northwest part of the State...just below Shreveport. I love it here...good fishing and hunting.

I don't have the "cajun" accent anymore, too much traveling, I guess. I caught the travel bug at the age of 18 when I joined the Army. Spent a few years in Europe (mostly Germany), and have traveled the States extensively since then. I've yet to make it to Canada or Australia, but they are on my list.

I was raised in a family of 13 kids so I guess I never had much need for too many friends as a child. I had 8 brothers and 4 sisters...4 older brothers, 4 younger...3 older sisters, 1 younger.

As most of my friends know, Carly and I have been chatheads for nearly 3 years now...(WOW! how'd you manage to put up with us for that long?).

We've met some truly wonderful lifelong friends on this puter...(don't know how we would have survived without one now)...actually, it's been both a blessing and a curse.

I'm going to try to not get too mushy here and name names, but I seriously think that you know who you are that have truly enriched our lives.

Come to think of it, even the song here can relate to you guys, even though most of you know how I feel. As most of you should know by now, I try to be totally honest...and usually say what I feel and or think. *Now, you may learn a soft side of me you've never known I had.* LOL

I'm very thankful for YESTERDAY, cause I can change myself from the mistakes I made in the past, and learned to better enjoy and appreciate the friends and family I've had over those long years. And very thankful of the friends I've met on the net through lots of those yesterdays...

I am more thankful for TODAY, so I can really enjoy the friends and family from yesterday, and I can try to make up for all those mistakes I made in my yesterdays. And thankful that today gives me new opportunities to meet new friends. *S*

And TOMORROW???...i don't concentrate on tomorrow, cause it may never come. I try not to perceive too far into the future, cause for some of us, there is no future (except for the legacy we leave behind).

Which brings me to one of the reasons for creating this page, to let you personally meet the real difference makers in my life.
