Welcome to Doggie's page

I imagine I could bore you guys to death talking about this little rascal, but I'll try to restrain myself. I also apologize for the color of the text...there just isn't one that goes good with this picture.
From the very first day he came home we found a bond that I thought i'd never have with anyone else. The poor guy thinks I'm some sort of Hero or something. *I know, he's in for a rude awakening*...*S*
I guess he's the normal 4 year old boy...climbing on everything in sight...loves to do the pretend hunting and fishing thing...thinks he's a cowboy...and have tons more energy than Carly and I put together.
Anything i have belongs to him and "pawpaw"...just ask him. And anything i do, he wants to do. Who could have expected such a "little shadow"?
I guess to cut all this short, he's the son i never had...and I'll always treat him as though he were my son.
Now, for those of you interested in how he got his nickname...
Well, he's always been fond of cattle...and the old western nickname for cattle was "doggies"...so, there you go, I managed to make a long story short. *S*
He also has this fetish(?) about riding bulls......and falling off. LOL
Just a few days ago (in April), I found out that I had to leave the next day to go off to work so I decided to surprise this little guy by showing up at daycare early with the boat attached to the truck.
You should have seen his face when he saw this.
He insisted that we stop at the first boat landing we came to (which wouldn't have been my choice).
I launched the boat and we finally started motoring down the river, the faster I went, the more his face would light up.
When we finally stopped the boat to do some fishing, he said "you're my best buddy paw-paw".
Then his next statement was "where's my fishing pole?" (he has his own "special" fishing rod).
Uh oh...I looked at him and said..."sorry buddy, I forgot it".
I'll never forget his very next words..."that's okay paw-paw, you're still my best buddy".
Kids...gotta love em.
