Our mission at the Lockwood Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the city, by providing all people with responsive and professional police service, and always exercising compassion and concern. To accomplish our mission, The Lockwood Police Department will make every effort to work in collaboration with the citizens of Lockwood, and operate within the framework of the United States Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce fear, and provide for a safe environment.

Our Police Department consists of two full-time officers and five reserve officers, dedicated to full time service and protection. Our department serves approximatily 1400 citizens. Lockwood is located 26 miles east of Lamar Missouri on Hwy 160 and 8 miles west Greenfield on Highway 160.
