Can You Help Us?

We are a family of four struggling together to keep our heads above water; a mother, father, and two daughters in their 20's. We desperately need some help.

Our family has gone without adequate medical and dental care. There are no family vacations. There is no "home of our own". And now we're not even going to have a "rental of our own". And we are out of financial resources to get ourselves to a different house.

The father, Keith, went for months without work. In spite of DECADES of experience running heavy equipment, there were no jobs. He has just recently found a small company that is paying less than he's been paid...but he works at least six days a week now...but the wages cannot pay the bils week-to-week without getting the overtime.

The mother, Susan, has devoted her life to caring for her children and husband; packing up and moving state-to-state for years chasing her husband's next job and still somhow maintaining a stable enough home for two growing kids. Not once has she owned a new car or a home of her own.

The oldest daughter, Vikki, received an Associate's Degree from the local community colleg, but still has been unable to find work in the local area. Commuting to a larger city would require a car. She volunteers a large portion of her time to causes she feels are designed to help make society a better place.

The youngest daughter is struggling to pay her way through community college and is working two part-time jobs just trying to cover expenses and try to save something toward a 4 year college savings to get further. She now works six days a week, standing at a register, being verbally assulted by customers and bosses, trying to make enough to save for a better life.

Together we are doing what we can to get by, but now we've hit a wall! We've lived here nearly 10 years now - we never expected they'd up and want us out, when we've always paid our rent on time and been good tennants.
Please help us if you can. Prove that there are still people who care about the plight that fellow human beings must find a way to manage.
