# 7 Fold nose down at red line. Please read helpful hints.

# 8 Fold plane in half, making sure nose triangle is on the inside.

# 9 Make a mark at the top 3/8 ". And at the bottom 3/4 ". This is indicated in red and this is where your fold will be. See illustration. Do the same for the other wing.

#10 Make a mark at the top 5/8 ". And at the bottom 1-1/4 ". This is again, indicated in red and this is where your fold will be. See illustration. Do the same for the other wing.

#11 This is a view from the bottom of the plane.

#12 This is a view from the rear, as if the plane was flying away from you. Your plane should look like this when in flight.

Here are some helpful hints: #13 In step # 7, you fold the nose back at the red line. This is shown in the illustration on your left. This plane must be balanced correctly (c.g) I use 75 pound paper to create this plane and it works very well. However do to weight (thickness of paper) paper and A-4 paper you may need to make some adjustments.

You can correct this problem by doing the following.

  1. If your plane tends to nose dive, you must make your fold more towards the back of the plane. What this means is that you will be folding more of the nose over. Try playing with the amount you fold over and you will be glad you did, because this is truly a great plane. Return back to step # 7

Congratulations you have finished your "J-40"
