so that it appears like the illustration on your left. Shown in red, is
were you will fold over the wing tips about a 1/2". See illustration. |

| Here are some |
|
When
folding the J-80 (outdoor version),
you must make sure that the c.g ( center of gravity ) is correct for the
plane to fly properly.
- In the illustration marked # 1 on your left
shows the J-80 I ( indoor version).
- In the illustration marked # 2 shows the
J-80 (outdoor version). the difference between the two is the amount
of the nose you will fold over. The J-80 nose must be folded to the
bottom of the page.
- Important ! I
use 75 pound paper to create this plane and it works very well,
however size and weight of paper are not always the same. So in step
three you will need to play around with the amount you fold over to
make the plane fly as it should.
- Rule of thumb:
If your plane flies straight and level, the c.g is correct. Have fun
with the plane.
- If the plane tends to fly upwards and stalls,
You must fold more of the nose over.
- If the plane dives
towards the ground, fold less over. Return to
step # 3. Or start folding step # 1
