The Heartbreak

Chapter 1

Notes: This is only my S+S and CCS second fanfic. I’m still not sure whether my first fanfic is a successful one. Readers, I hope you can give me some comments or suggestions! J

Huh? Why are there wings behind me? Are these wings from FLY? Nope. They are light purple not light pink. Why? Why?

Suddenly, I woke up with in cold sweat. What’s that dream all about? I turned around and look at my alarm clock. It’s only six-thirty in the morning. I got up from my bed and look at the mirror. I screamed, “AAHH! Kero-chan! Wake up and look at me!”

Kero-chan came out of the drawer, rubbed his eyes sleepily and said,” Nya?”

He looked at me and screamed too.

“Sakura! Why are there light purple wings behind your back? Oh no!” Kero-chan said in shock.

I replied,” I just dreamt of me having these wings on my back and when I woke up there are wings behind my back! Luckily today’s a Sunday and my brother went to work early and my father won’t be home till next Sunday. Whew! I think I better get dressed and call Syaoran-kun and Tomoyo-chan later on.”

Kero-chan said,” But how are you going to get dressed or undressed? There are wings behind your back!”

I smiled weakly,” I guess you are right. But I still want to try.”

I took off my pajamas easily and pulled on a simple pink dress. I smiled at Kero-chan and said, “ See, things aren’t as bad as you think. At least I won’t have to go out in my pajamas.”

Kero-chan exclaimed,” Go out? You can’t go out. What if the people see you with wings behind your back? They will freak!”

I said thoughtfully,” Why didn’t I thought of that? Well, Kero-chan, let’s go down for breakfast! Then after that, I will call Syaoran-kun and Tomoyo-chan to come over.”

1 Hour Later…

“Sakura! What in the world happen to you?” Syaoran-kun asked.

“What wrong’s, Li-kun and Sakura-chan? I don’t see anything wrong here.” Tomoyo-chan smiled.

Kero-chan let out a sign of relief and said,” Whew! Only people with magic powers are able to see.”

Syaoran-kun demanded,” Hey, what about in class? I can’t see the blackboard with Sakura’s wings blocking me! And she’s sitting right in front of me!”

Tomoyo squealed in delight,” Hey, I have got a great idea! Why don’t Sakura-chan use the card Erase to delete her wings?”

I smiled as I took out the card and my magic key to yell,” Erase! Delete my purple wings!”

The creature came out and with a wave of her hand, the process started instantly. I felt pain as it tried to take away my purple wings by force. I tried to control the pain but I can’t. The feeling is like trying to pull off any part of my body. I screamed in pain, ”Ouch! Stop!”

Syaoran-kun said,” What’s wrong? Is it to painful?”

I nodded and said,” I think we better not delete these wings. It will be too painful to bear. Hey, I got an idea! Syaoran-kun and Tomoyo-chan can change places by using Change. Syaoran-kun will be Tomoyo-chan and Tomoyo-chan will be Syaoran-kun.”

Syaoran-kun said,” I don’t think I will like that idea. What if we have to go to the toilet? Wouldn’t that be embarrassing? Then I would have to sleep at Tomoyo’s house. Lastly, when we have to change back, we have to hug!”

Tomoyo-chan exclaimed,” I got an idea! But this plan will have to involve Mizuki-sensei and Eriol-kun.”

Kero-chan yelled happily,” Okay! Say it!”

We huddled together and began hearing Tomoyo-chan’s plan…

Next day in school and early in the morning…

I had spent about ten minutes in the morning looking for Terada-sensei. And had finally found him walking down the stairs. I’m sorry I had to do this to you, Terada-sensei. I turned around quickly and checked that nobody was around. Then I took out Fly and Windy and I commanded Windy to push him down the stairs and Fly to fly me out of a nearest window as quickly as possible. 

“ What the… Aaahhh!” Terada-sensei screamed as he went crashing down the stairs.

I flew out of the window and flew to find one of my classroom’s windows.

After reaching the classroom safely…

“ Whew!” I said as I sat down on my own table.

“ So how did it go?” Tomoyo-chan asked, looking concerned.

“ Everything went well. I more I think about it. The more I feel guilty.” I said worriedly.

“ Don’t worry. Everything will be okay. Not that he is going to die or anything.” Syaoran-kun replied confidently.

Class bell rings and the class starts…

Mizuki-sensei walked into the classroom and announced, ” Due to the nasty fall he had just now, I will be your form teacher until Terada-sensei is well enough to teach again. Just now, while Terada-sensei was walking down the stairs, he tripped and fell down the stairs. As the result, he right hand and leg broke.”

The class began to buzz. I looked at my friends with an extremely guilty look.

She continued, ” Before the class starts, I would like to change some of your seats. Kinomoto-san and Li-kun, please change your seats.”

She began calling out student’s names so that they would swipe places.

When class was over…

We walked out of the classroom together and started chatting. I sighed loudly and said, ” I wonder when these wings will ever disappear. They are starting to get on my nerves. I always have to carry my schoolbag by hand and it’s very heavy. Then I have to spread my wings when I sit. Lastly, I have to use Float when I sleep. Oh… How I wish to sleep on my soft and warm bed.”

All of the sudden, “Crash!”
