Well to begin we found out Makena was comming on May 2,2000.
The due date was December 31, 2000.
I was so excited as was everyone.
Through out the whole pregnancy we had sonogram after sonogram.
only to find out Makena was breech but never if she was a boy or girl.
All we ever saw was her BUTT!!!!!
The doctors tried to turn her but she is like her Daddy(headstrong)
so after a while of the doc pushing my guts out he gave up
and said we will take the baby by c-section.
On December 29 2000 I went to the hospitial to have this baby at 11:00am
and at 11:30 am I was the mommy of this perfect wonderful little angel
My family said as the rolled Makena and I back to our
room I had the biggest smile they ever saw
I bet I did too!! I was never so proud of something on my whole life
I have never felt that way before
Weight ....8lbs
length ....20 1/2 inches
eyes .....blue
Hair ....brown

she has been able to sit up since June,2001
she crawled in July,2001
took her first steps on October 16,2001
She truly loves ELMO gets very excited (daddy got her ELMO for Christmas)
Makena is a very busy child she loves to make a mess
If I ask her where is her bubby she will lift my shirt
and pat my belly

Makenas first Christmas was great.She got so many things from everybody
that I am still tring to find room.She looked so pretty in her dress

Well Makenas birthday was great she had lots of baloons,cake and icecream
she got a blues clues chair and some blocks (poor things birthday is too close to christmas)
she enjoyed getting her cake all over her but I think she really
enjoyed having all the people she loves here with her
