Welcome to my
information site. Not only is the site informative but it is also graphically
intriguing. Thanks to so many nice people who
worked hard on their graphics then made them available for use
at the very low cost of following some simple requests. Well worth it.
Let me start by saying I am a 36 year
old witch. I
am not a Wiccan as such termed by Neo-Pagan terms. I do
however understand why Wicca was started, and that it is a path that some feel is fulfilling.
I also understand Wicca has brought many
back to the way of Nature. It has also brought out into the open many
people who feared coming out of the Broom closet.
I decided it would be a good idea to have a web site,
based on some of the things I enjoy learning about, contemplating,
and all the while I could grow with. Oh come on let's face it I have an opinion and I'm here to share :)
My spiritual name is Misty Violet Moon
On those rare nights As the God starts to set and the Goddess starts to visually glow the God reflects a Misty Violet Moon.
Well let's get started now that we have made our introductions.
PAGANISM ! Is now in our time a term usually used to describe Earth Based or Nature Based Religion. Also
note that any Witches and Wiccan's I have met including myself DO NOT again DO NOT believe in any form of child sacrifice in any way what-so-ever!!
If you are deep in your faith and I in mine and
disagree, than disagree we will, but you ought not ever try
to tell another they can't express their views. If you don't want to hear me or
want to only rage ignorance than you have come to the
wrong site. All people are
equally natural, beautiful and diverse just as all nature is.
Remember that nature is one big web of diversity
so it only stands to reason that humans would be too.
If your still with me by now then maybe you'll stay for a long visit. Or at least pop
in now and then!
Nature itself is the phenomenal teacher of all magick.
There is not one part of nature that is less or more natural.
I firmly believe every part of nature teaches us,answering all spiritual questions during our lives and it is up to us to watch, listen and learn what it is nature has to say. It is not an entire life's
lesson learned from a bible nor any holy writ. I believe
the soul remembers forever through all eternity the accumulation of
answers. However if one can't remember what
they ate for lunch two weeks ago on a Tuesday than it is
more than likely one would not remember who they were
in a past life 100 or more years ago.
Reincarnation to me is not a question , it is
what I believe and have faith to be true. Some would say it isn't possible. When people tell me I can't believe in the energies and the Earth's soul
but I have to believe in God to be saved I try to understand where their beliefs come from. However, I expect to be free to respond. I may reply, "that I can touch, feel taste,
and smell all of nature. I can eat the Sun's energy when
I eat peppers, fruits, all spices, and herbs. I can feel the
warmth of the Sun's light. Without the Sun I could not exist
on this Earth. He is a God. He is nature just as I am nature. The Moon feeds the swells, she pulls up all our
vegetables from the Earth nightly after the Sun feeds
them all day, she keeps us grounded, she is our mirrored
reflection of the Sun to provide us light in the Dark. She is even the darkness herself. She speaks to us of life, death and rebirth. Nature is calm and chaotic
and should be equally understood to provide
ourselves with a balance.
The Goddess in her forms teaches us everything from innocence
to the great age of wisdom. She is
a Goddess. She is nature as I am nature." Ask yourself
questions like why does a woman's soul
seem to know in all its lives how to nurture care for their young, enjoying flowers, budding beauty, creating a balance for all
life. She has the ability to keep life grounded,even when dealing with the most chaotic side of life. She is likened to that of the
28 day cycle of the Goddess. Woman are the only being on the planet who have had their divinity
taken from them by men, yet woman have remained strong.
She knows that her beauty can make a difference whether or not she survives.
In days past if a woman wasn't beautiful or somewhat pretty
she may not have been able to find a mate
and she may have found herself with no home, no food, no one to love her.
This still is present in today's time
and this is why woman struggle constantly to keep their youth and beauty
cause their souls remember it can mean their survival. Man knows he is to provide, to
help build, to stay strong and must bear the weight of others leaning on him. He is one
who plants the seed for the Goddess to nurture. Men's souls remember this
and remember their strength, and really haven't changed much
and are also the only being, as a whole, who haven't had their divinity taken from them.
How can
each life know this and millions after millions of
people feel it daily forever? Some would say it is culturalization. However, there is a feeling deep within most of us who know it goes beyond just upbringing. If we didn't remember then role reversal would be even more apparent.
Woman wouldn't worry about look's, men would change like the winds.
BUT we don't. I believe it is because
once the soul embraced it each lifetime knows and
remembers it forever. This is why each person is born with a fear of abandonment. It has been embraced and remembered. NOT conditioned
because infants wouldn't be conditioned yet.
We feel love and need not know
why, we hurt when we lose those we love, no one had to tell
you it hurt, I believe the soul remembered from the first time
it felt it. Now I know most people would say I was crazy, or
how can I know for sure, she's being arrogant, or who is
she to say a persons role in life. This is just what I believe.
I don't even question it anymore. I questioned faith all the while
in my younger years.When I was old enough to start thinking about FAITH
logically . I discovered I already knew an answer
as I felt it and seen it in all existence.
I believe it is up to us
to forgive ourselves and to make the conscious effort to
decide if we want to be reincarnated or if we want to stay
as another force of energy at a different frequency.
I need not beg a male being for his forgiveness
just because someone tells me to. Now I would also like to let
people know this that I do not follow Christian theology
but I do however respect life!
How can I say
I respect and love nature
but then be so quick to say a fetus
is not equally important. So if anyone
is looking for a feminist in me
because I do believe in the God and Goddess please note
I am not here to support the Woman's Movement when it comes to the right
to choose, though necessary in some cases it is not in most cases. I am a woman who stayed at
home raising my daughter. I know some people can't
and absolutely must work, but many woman can but opt
to work to get away from the family daily. I believe I brought
my daughter into this world and I will raise her into this
world. I do not judge as I am not here to judge I am at the very least
just giving you some insight into how I believe when it comes to being a mother
and I would expect no less of any being who created another.
Free will is a firm foundation in me however not at the expense of the child.
I do not want the school system being her only baby sitter,
or a daycare, or any other stranger or
even another relative. I know that many Non -Wiccan's,
Witches
and Pagans associate Witches
or
Wiccan's as woman who are trying to push
forward the woman's movement but you will not find that
here at my site . As a person who has found nature
to be my guide as I have - I know and understand the importance
of men and masculine energy to be equally as important as feminine.
So do many other Pagans . I support
equality just not at the expense of babies or a career over a
child. In other ways yes I support feminine equality.
Unfortunately it seems in the Woman's Movement they
have convinced
woman they need to support things that in my soul disagree. Woman
did need to fight for equality, but I believe that
since they were considered not equals for long that when they fought for the equality
they took it just a little to far and this is when the balance was lost in an opposite direction than in past times
and unfortunately it was at the expense of the children,
and yes even many great men have been victim to the extreme loss of balance and to you good men yes there are
still woman who love you and know we need you.
I however
can make the distinction between what is and what I know
is right in my soul as will each person for themselves.
Just as I feel the Christians are not
right though have some great teachings, I also know that some aspects of the Woman's Movement
aren’t
right and neither does some aspects of Neo-Paganism
seem right.
I do not have to 100% support something just because that group has some of what I believe.
I stand strong in my beliefs and I will
not change them just to suit or further
special groups or a religion.
I'm believe that in the Old Days and Old Ways woman
were not outworking all day while they sent their babies off to daycare.
Since I try to practice the Older Ways than it would not
be right for me to pawn off my young till I see fit to be with
them.
That was not part of the Witches ways in my own opinion.
Our
children are ours and ours means ours to
take care of. Do you want a part time Goddess only when
she sees fit
after all such creation comes with great responsibility and that responsibilty is handed down to us
to become the responsible beings of our creations and to show equal love and understanding.
So with this I feel I should be
there for my creation.
I hope that you'll remain visiting even if we differ on the Mothering of our CHILDREN.
Now as far as the bible goes.I know the bible was letters of correspondences of men.
I know NOT one man can tell me that a bible written by man
is right while all the nature I see is wrong. Realm after
realm of light energy making life from lowered frequencies
is what I see , feel , and believe, and no one will convince
me otherwise while they try to control my mind, thought
and behavior, as I am life and life is free.
Reincarnation: Will some stay or come back? If they stay and opt not to return to this
realm and lower light frequency than they cannot touch
the flowers, taste the juice of a ripened peach, or feel
sand in their toes. They are though in their own euphoria.
That decision is theirs to make. Not a male being God can
control that nor make the decision for all. The Energy is not more masculine nor is it more feminine.
It is the IS. While the lowered frequency energies will
have more of one attribute than another. This is due to light frequency lowering
in order for creation to keep creating
for the love of itself.
That is what I would call the main cosmic love.
Even when it must cause end to somethings it will always
keep creating. Even when we are gone from this planet life will continue.
Creation has never gave up it's creating and never will
as it is the purest form of love and it's love is the glue that holds it all together.
Witch Craft and Pagan Religions are one of
the fastest Growing Religions lately. I say religions
though it is true
that it is hard to define
a religion because many Wiccan's cannot agree on
it. Whether it be the Deity they speak to
or call on , and
not everyone agrees on the
Wiccan Rede etc. but I also note
that the Christian Faith has many sects
because they cannot agree on everything either.
So how can one group
say one is or
isn't a religion just because of agreement on specific teachings.
The fact is Paganism is Earth Based, Neo- Paganism is Earth Based
and Witchcraft is Earth Based so obviously
we agree on Earth Based. So then like the Catholics and Christians who cannot agree
on everything or the New or Old Testament fact is they do believe in one God
and they call themselves a Religion. Than so be it with Earth Based
we to call it our Religion. We do not believe in
putting others down for their beliefs. Nature Based Faith / Earth based is one of the Oldest Paths known to the Human
existence . For many years the entire World cared about
the Mother Earth. Isis Worship,was almost known Worldwide
and many more Earth Based Belief systems. Christians
do practice some of the Pagan Faith whether they want to
acknowledge it or not is fine. Every Holiday at Easter and
Christmas they are really practicing the Ancient Beliefs and even in their mass you can see the old ways alive.
That is fine though but it is to bad they won’t quit saying we are horrible evil people while they are practicing mostly the old religion to begin with. Sadly most Born Again Christians
still want to insist us Pagans are going to hell. Well as Witches, and Wiccan’s
we know this isn't true. Since in our Theology we don't
worry about such nonsense I feel we are at more peace in
our life.The belief of Karma is so strong in many Nature-Based systems
that many
of its folowers try to always do the right thing
because we don't want Karma to bite us in the rear. Now realize just because
there are some bad Christian
leaders and bad Catholic priests does not mean they are all
bad. Just like just because there are some bad Pagans out there does not mean they are all bad.
I think I've touched enough on that subject.
I practice WitchCraft with my beautiful daughter Tranquil
Moon Dancer. We practice what some title as Eclectic. However I am just
a traditional witch. I honor my ancestors my Irish side even though I'm part Cherokee. Since we don't believe in
the all one Holy Writ as many faiths do, we stay open minded and want to always understand as best we can other Earthly ways.
I feel this is what makes our faith so beautiful.
Once we've learned much about one path many may choose to start
reading up on other paths of Nature Based Faiths in order to enlighten their souls and their understanding of others. I truly believe this can be healthy
to our minds and mostly our Spiritual being if we
stay on an enlightened paths
and do not choose we are
the absolute higher power.
We as Witches do not try to convert people. Christians
tried that and it killed many.
Never again! Never Again is for all Woman not just Witches, Wiccan’s or Neo Pagans.
Our Religion needs to be honest to all also. Just as we ask the Christians to admit
the truth than so should our paths. The Burning Times
should really just be called the War Against Woman.
Reason is most of the people killed during the burning times
were not Pagans, Witches and it was not
even a true Witch Hunt but a hunt hidden under a murderous title. There were good woman
even Christian and God
fearing woman killed
during this horrific time
in history.
The truth in my opinion is
that this was a hunt for anyone
they seen as a threat to their positions of power.
In other words
The Witch Trials resulted in an atmosphere of fear which
would be an effective way of KEEPING people but mainly women in their place or line.
Men wanted to keep woman and some men out of
the position of power.
They knew if they could be accused
of Witchcraft and killed that this could and possibly would keep them in line.
Women and some men living in the areas of where the witch hunts
where occurring knew that if they asserted themselves
in any way whatsoever which offended the sensibilities of male
authoritative figures, either religious or secular, they would more than likely be falsely
accused of being in the control of Lucifer and tortured
until they admitted it , then while
being tortured they would be asked who they would name as witch or they would not be freed from the torture.
So this vicious circle was never seeming to have an end. It was taught in the book of
Malleus Maleficarnm brought about in the 14'th century on how to
go about this horrific form of
the hunt ( The Human Hunt ) how to get Witches to confess. It was easy because the Black
Death had fallen on Europe and it was easy to blame the devil
and what better time for the Church to KEEP people (woman) in line in the churches
opinion than now. Since there was mass hysteria. Cramer knew this and said Witches were easy prey
for the devil and blamed woman for lust. This is when the tribunal was formed "The Inquisition against
any Heresy. Then they blamed the Witches when really they were just
blaming woman to keep control over them
Yes I understand it was the Witch hunts but
never the less how many of the killed were actually Witches?
Fact is it is the War Against Woman
and the men cowardly hid behind
this so called Witch Hunt as their reasons
to kill woman.
So Witches and All Woman should stand up
to the male dominated church and ask why?
Many Neo-Pagans really need to stop spreading almost a myth
that only witches were sought out
and killed . It is time to say that those who were killed were all innocent victims of
a paranoid
church and it's hunters. Both the Witches and the Christians should
have never been hunted just because those in positions of power or those about to gain power or just wanted
total power by
way of fear. Neo-Pagans and Witches
need to be honest here. Honesty to all woman. Woman it was a crime
committed on Woman as a group
to KEEP us in line so the patriarchal could continue
to dominate
because they feared Woman in Power. So
they hid behind
The Witch Hunts.
75% of the population killed were woman. If they really were seeking
out Witches just as
many Pagan men would have been killed.
The main reason they killed 20% men was because they were
possible threats to those in position of power or a woman under
torture may have given a mans name.Yes it is true that they
questioned ones faith but we know it was really just hidden agenda’s
to keep the church in power over the people . Anyone would
confess to anything under torture.
Yet they were
still tortured. In some towns in Germany entire female
populations of woman were wiped out such as it was in Wurtzburg Germany.
On the bright side now. As far as jobs go
Many Witches find fields
that help others such as mid-wives, nurses, healers,
aroma therapists, and many other jobs and you will find us in all walks of life everywhere. Yes there are Witches about. Love and Luck Misty Violet Moon
