Medicine Wheel Signs The Medicine Wheel encompasses the Four Directions and Elements.The use of the Medicine Wheel helps us to get in touch with the Earth and to help to heal ourselves. Since we have already discussed the understanding of Universal Energy as we have in the Pages before. We then understand that everything has it's own vibrations. This is the same concept in the use of the Wheel. It provides us with plants that heal and provide. The minerals have their own energies as we have discussed on the Gems page. Using the vibrations of the minerals helps us to become closer with nature and by understanding her, we then can heal ourselves. This would be the same with the Colors as we have discussed on the Colors page. This page is to show you a diagram of a Medicine Wheel. This is the only one I have used and thought since we are Nature Based in Faith it would be nice to share. When placing stones make sure to meditate with each one first. Make sure you are reflecting on the meaning of each item from the stone, plant, mineral, color and animal, elements, and directions as this is a sacred wheel you are making. Just as we practice going clockwise with our rituals so would the same rule apply to the Wheel. As you'll notice I am in favor of starting all my rituals in the East. Jim and Laura taught me you enter Wheel in the East and walk clockwise and then EXIT just before the East after passing Cougar but before the East stone. I was taught to not step out of the Wheel anywhere other than there. This means since I enter the East then I must walk all they way around to the East again before stepping out. Just as we are when we create a protective space in any other ritual.!!!!
