It’s true that we
don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t
know what we’ve been missing until it arrives. Nobody is perfect until you fall in love
with them. Don't cry over anyone
who won't cry over you. What do you
do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you
cry? No man/woman is worth your
tears and the only one who is, will never make you cry.
It hurts to love
someone and not to be loved in return.
The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love somebody
else. If love isn't a game, why are
there so many players? It's better
to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of
pride.
Giving someone
all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Don't
expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts; but if it
doesn't, be content that it grew in yours.
It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and
a day to love someone - but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. But what is more painful is to love
someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong
people before meeting the right one so that when we finally do meet the right
person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Never accept love
if you can't give yourself in return. Never start a relationship you know
you'll want to end eventually.
Don't go for looks, it can deceive; Don't go for wealth - even that fades
away. Go for someone who makes you smile because only a smile makes a dark
day seem bright.
Love comes to
those who still hope even though they've been disappointed; to those who still
believe even though they've been betrayed; to those who still need love even
though they've been hurt before.
When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults... you don't
look for answers... you don't look for mistakes. Instead, you fight the
mistakes, you accept the faults, and you overlook excuses
The measure of
love is when you love without measure. In life, there are very rare chances that
you'll meet the person you love and who loves you in return. So once you have it, don't ever let
go... The chance might never come your way again
Love is when you
take away the feeling, the passion, the romance and you find that you still care
for that person. You can't make someone love you-all you can do is be someone
who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth. If you love someone, put their name in a
circle, instead of a heart, because hearts can break, but circles go on
forever.
We spend so much
time looking for the right person to love... or finding fault with those we
already love... when instead, we should be perfecting the love we give. Some
thoughts are better left unsaid...some feelings are better left kept to
yourself. But love has its way of expressing itself despite the silence.
The
beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not twist
them with our own image - otherwise, we love only our own reflection of
ourselves that we find in them.
Never say goodbye when you still want to try - never give up when you
still feel you can take it - never say you don't love that person anymore when
you don't really want to let go.
Don't let the
past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff. Life's short. If you don't
look around once in a while you might miss it. When the door of happiness closes,
another one opens, but often at times we look so long at the closed door that we
don’t see the one which has been opened for us.
Always put
yourself in others shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the
other person too. A careless word
may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress
but a loving word may heal and bless.
You cannot finish
a book without closing its chapters. If you want to go on, then you have to
leave the past as you turn the pages of life. Move on! When you feel down because you
didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because there is
something always better to give you.
Dream what you
want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you only
have one life and one chance to do all the things you want to
do.
May you have
enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trails to make you strong, enough
sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don’t necessary
have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.
Happiness
lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who searched, and those who have
tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched
their lives. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was
smiling. Live you life so that when you die, you’re the one who is smiling
and everyone around you is crying!
