Lying here in splendor of meadow’s green grass,

beneath the bridge a stolen first kiss from me.

Though now it seems it is a million stars away,

nonetheless these exceptional thoughts flee.

Back to that moment where it all first began,

in our tender, youthful years as time stood still.

Nights lasted forever caught up in your arms,

two now beat as one, such a magnificent thrill.

Daydreams capture the essences of souls,

allowing the world to slip from its bonds.

Secrets escape we had safely kept hidden,

enhanced sensations our emotion responds.

There is no place on earth I would rather be,

than lost in these memories of so long ago.

I want to feel this way longer than eternity,

extraordinary gifts your love does bestow.

Every time you touch me melting all resistance,

holding one another close in the pouring down rain.

Kissing your smile and knowing your dreams,

nothing is beyond impossible for us to attain.

When you tell me that you love me,

sheer astonishment gazing into your eyes.

I'll keep you safe no matter where you are,

stop the hands from turning, for us no demise.

Here in a world of lies, you are the truth,

without you, longing leaves me in hunger.

All I need is your breathless, endless love,

sharing who I am and making me stronger.

Hope always held a realm in lovers' hearts,

for one flicker of magic and you will see.
