What I am currently calling a "group project" is a story that has multiple people working on it. (Multiple authors may write it, and readers may vote on how they want the story to go.)

Each individual story will have it’s own variation of the rules, but the basics are this:

The starter author will write the first chapter and then present possible ways the story may go, and have readers/authors vote on it. (The voters may also suggest their own ideas as to how to have the story go.) When someone wants to start a story they may ask people to vote on where and when the story will start, and on whom it should start off starring.

When voting on a story, the voter may volunteer to be an author for that story. They must provide a link to, or info on where to find, stories that they have already written, so that voters may compare writing styles to decide whom they want to write the next chapter.

When there is a tie in the votes, the starter author has the choice of which one to use, or (assuming that it doesn’t defeat the question) how to use both.
